Annual General Meeting

that notice be given of the Markham Village BIA Annual General Meeting to be held on:
Date: Wednesday, March 6th, 2024
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Markham Village Community Centre, Main Level Board Room (6041 Hwy 7 E., Markham, ON)
RSVP REQUIRED BY March 4th, 2024
We are excited to announce that our 2023 annual general meeting is fast approaching. This is an important annual event as it provides an opportunity for Markham Village BIA to reflect on the achievements and challenges of the past year, as well as to plan for the year ahead.
We encourage all MVBIA business owners and members of the community to attend the meeting. This is a chance for you to have your voices heard and to help shape the future of our organization. It is also an opportunity to meet and network with other members who share common goals.
If you are unable to attend, we still want to hear from you. Please submit your questions via the RSVP form by March 4th so that your views can be represented at the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to transact the following business:
1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on March 28th, 2023.
2. To Receive and Consider the final report of the Chair and of the Auditor for the financial year 2022 and the interim report for 2023 (to be provided at the meeting).
3. To Receive and Consider the proposed 2024 operating budget (to be provided at the meeting)
4. To provide information for any party interested in joining our subcommittees to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of MVBIA.
5. To transact any other business that is properly brought before the meeting.
